Thank for all the help!

I'm sold on the two Pentium II 350 processors.

Now I need to get an ATX case, motherboard,
decide whether to recirculate 128MB of SIMM (a bad idea
for sure, DIMMS are the way to go obviously).
I'm partial to Tyan.

I'm thinking of a desktop system, strange as that seems.

Something small, light, with .25 G ram and a 10,000 RPM disk
(maybe replaceable so my wife can play games on msdos,  I don't
really like dual boot systems).
