There are already 3D-Now! patches to the 2.x.x kernels which enable things
like proc to recognize the K6-2 processors. The K-7 SMP spec should be
compatable with today's SMP.
I've got running a dual p-2 system running now with high success.
Although SMP is possible with 2.0.x kernels, the best luck can be had with
the development kernels (2.1.x) and the future pipedream kernels (2.2).
