Here is my configuration: Suse-Linux 6.0 Kernel 2.2.1 SMP Board Gigabyte GA-6BXD 192 MByte Ram Dual Celeron 300A@450MHz Noname pci NE2000 card Noname Symbios 53c875 based UW controller with 2* 9 GByte IBM DDRS U2W Noname Symbios 53c810 based SCSI II controller with CD-Rom, Tape-Streamer, CD-Writer and 4 GByte Quantum Atlas II U-SCSI disk sometimes a small 850 MByte Seagate IDE drive is used as a removable drive (works fine with ide compiled as a module) I did not try kernel > 2.2.1 until now but I am going to swith to 2.2.5 the next days.
