Have tested them under a inhouse test program that pegs both cpu and disk
I/O cycles. If something isn't 100% it breaks and we get the dreaded crash
screen.

Both use Symbios chipsets.

I'll have my techs look into this and see if this is an issue.  We don't use
Buslogic or Adaptec so we can emulate your problem, but we'll try.  Might
want to try the latest firmware from Intel which is version 10.
