Where can I find a tar.gz (or tar.bz2) copy of glibc2.1? Last time
I checked on the various GNU archives, all I get was a readme saying
something about political issues to be worked out, hmmm...
I understand that
the p-threading support is built into glibc2.1 and is better than the
add-on to libc5, could someone who knows more about this elaborate as to
what differences there are or point me to a site that does?
I am running Slackware (libc5) and am considering to upgrade to glibc2.1
to support threading on my 2.2.5 kernel running on a dual Intel PII..
Thanks, -Borries
