Possibly, but I dont think so George. I've got 128meg of memory.  I saw the
earlier post about the problem so I tried linux-2.2.0-pre6. Same problem.
Did I mention i use a 2490u. Doesn't matter though. This baby hangs with an
ide drive too. Solid as a rock since I went back to 2.0.36 though.

Should I try it without swapspace? It is not a problem for me to reconfigure
and test.
