here's the output of "dmesg" (not everything)
Although we have those warning about the IO
APIC and mttr, the machine seems to work
fine. (It has been up for two days only, not finished
testing it)

The machine is a proliant 3000 with 512Mb RAM,
two Pentium II 450
smart2 controller
