Thank you very much!  I'm not able to use it as a module
though, kernel 2.2.7, which is odd.  Works built-in, but
with worse performance (I/O) than before.  However, the
system does *not* hang and act wierd, which is by far the
largest improvement.  Personally, I can deal with slower
throughput..

Has anyone else used the 1.0 driver?  As a module?  When I
try it, I get the message "Can't allocate sglist for id
<n>", which seems to come from the driver 
itself at line 437 in megaraid.c.

I've enabled parallel I/O via make config..
