Mouse Control

Hi,

  I have noticed that when I enable SMP w/ my 2.1.132 kernel, under X-windows, the 
control
  of the mouse is "jerky".  That is, the mouse does not respond well to tactile 
commands.

  This does not occur w/o SMP.

  Any advice would be appreciated.
