I am attempting to run Linux SMP on a Soyo SY-D6IBA with Linux 2.2.7, but
the machine's screen goes black and stops responding after about a day of
uptime. Is there any way to tell what is locking it up?

This system is a 2 P2/400 machine with 384MB of PC-100 RAM.

The SY-D6IBA has a built-in Adaptec AIC-7880 controller, and I also have a
BusLogic BT-958D SCSI controller, 3Com 3c905B ethernet controller, 3Dimage
978 (?) AGP display card.
