Hi,
This sounds like an IRQ conflict, perhaps. I'm running a Tyan Tiger
II, dual PII-333s, with a 21041 Tulip ethernet card, AGP Millenium II,
UDMA disk, and an AWE64. Everything works fine. Attached is my .config
file for my (monolithic) 2.2.x kernel. No isapnp necessary.
