But remember that if you are booting from a boot floppy (perhaps one
made early in the install) what happens may have nothing to do with any
changes made in lilo on the linux hard disk. First install lilo
correctly to dual boot from the primary hard disk (no floppy required).
Then linuxconf or hand edits will actually have some effect. Boot
floppies are for diskless systems or installs or emergency repairs; it
isn't really desirable to use them as a routine boot tool except while
figuring out how to do things "right" with lilo directly.
