Zach,
We've had reasonable success applying your ioapic-patch.txt to a stock 2.2.9
kernel. The patch complains about one minor thing, which already appears to be
in the kernel. We are currently running a Netfinity 7000 M10 with MPS=1.4 and
ioapic's enabled (e. g. no "NOAPIC" at boot time). /proc/interrupts shows all
processors fielding interrupts and APIC interrupts enabled. We haven't run a
big stress workload on it, but we kept it 100% CPU busy and with a couple of
finds and network activity going on it all night long and it stayed up fine.
Best Regards,
Ray Bryant
