I upgraded a Digital Prioris 5600DP to two CPUs. The BIOS seem to recognize
them. At least on boot the nomenclature changed to Digital Prioris 5600DP.

I started with a low level format of the drive before each install. It
failed to properly partition the HD automatically in either the Workstation
or Server mode. I selected a custom install, created the partitions
manually, and everything seemed ok at least it booted. Except CPUINFO says
one CPU and the LINUX kernel, not SMP, is booting. In fact LILO only shows
two entries LINUX and RESCUE.

Any suggestions or pointers to something I should have read is most
appreciated.?

Thanks in advance.
