but if you BIOS is not telling you that you have 2 CPU's Linux
may not be able to find the the other one either.
I think someone had suggested checking the jumpers on your MB to
make sure it is set up for multiple cpu's.. also make sure they
are inserted fully and correctly. this sounds like what your
peoblem may be...
make sure when you boot that the boot screen recognizes both of
your cpu's....
