The undocumented "manufacturer setting" in the BIOS does change the
frequencies.
All-in-all, it is a good board for the price (it is true for all P6DB*
and P6DG* boards). 

Among shortcomings of all P6DB* and P6DG* boards are:

1) The BIOS is somewhat "unfinished" (see that "manufacturer setting",
for instance).
2) These boards are very picky about the memory and the BIOS does not
always sets the clocking right (I had to set it manually on mine in
order to make it stable).
3) There is very little space between the IDE/SCSI bus and the memory,
which makes installation of disks or additional memory a REAL PAIN.

You might also give a thought to Tyan Dual BX/GX boards. Though a bit
more expensive, these boards are really good. They are everything that
Supermicro could have been.
