Just happened again. This time the machine was completely hosed and I couldn't
even get in over the network. Therefore I don't have any post-lockup
/proc/interrupts to show.
This time I had an uptime of about 8 days and was using XEmacs to do some
programming. I did have Netscape running, but XEmacs definitely had the mouse
focuse this time when it locked up.
We've heard what some people think the reasons are for the strange mouse
behaviour and sporadic X lockups.
Linus, what do you think is the problem? And have you seen any patches that
you think might fix this problem?
  Thanks,
