Maybe it's a function of the BIOSes as well. I have a machine with 80MB,
(unknown MBoard) 6 with 256MB, (Dell), 6 with 384MB (Gateway) and an ASUS
MB with 512MB all running 2.2.6 which all detect the correct memory
without any boot-time or lilo options.
