Abit BP6 motherboard as a server?

Folks:

Forgive me for asking but I was thinking of using this board and a
couple of 500 MHz processors to build a Linux server.  My only concern
is that its ATX and if power goes down and the backup fails it will be
off till its physically is turned back on.

Is there a way around this -
