Actually, I contacted Richard Hirst about this earlier this summer.  He sent
me his 710 driver that he'd done for a VME machine (endianized for Intel)
and it worked.  I wrote an mca detect routine for it and he patched it
in.  This driver works quite well, you can the patch at:
