Hi,
just tried the 2.2.12 kernel on a IBM netfinity 5000. After about 4-5 hours
the box crashed (several times) without any error message just a black
screen, absolutly nothing, just leaving 2 halflighted CPU LED's on the
front panel. With the non SMP Version it seems to run.
The 2.2.11 version on the same machine had memory problems but ran for a
few days (no real crashes). After that, almost all the memory including
swap was gone and an attempt to reboot the system ended with "Out of
virtual memory". But no black screens.
I found this in my bootlog: "WARNING: MP table in the EBDA can be UNSAFE,
contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you experience SMP problems!"
I don't wanna throw away my second CPU ;-) can u help?
