Probrems w/Compaq Proliant 1800R SMP configuration
Dual Pentium III 500mhz w/320megs of RAM

(updated system firmware-> 6/29/99)
Bios settings
Operating System set to Unixware 7
APIC setting set to FULL TABLE

unexpected IO-APIC warnings showing up during boot, did the second
processor get successfully initialized. /proc/cpuinfo shows a second
processor, but is it truly enabled due to APIC warnings. Attached to this
file is a dmesg outfile and a condensed archive of the /proc directory.
Can anyone tell from these file if the second processor is successfully
being utilized?

Redhat 6.1 was installed
it used the default 2.2.5-15smp kernel and reported APACI error messages,
I then compiled the 2.2.10 kernel and also the 2.3.17 kernel, all kernel
versions still reported the APACI error.

All the documents on the web told me to set the OS to UNIXWARE 7 and set
the APIC settings to FULL TABLE, but the logs keep showing this APACI
error? Anyone successfully setup a Compaq 1800R SMP server before?
Please help.
