Thanks!

:-) Sorry I don't have the Atlas IV, but just one old Atlas II ultra wide and
2 Viking Ultra 2 Wide.

The problem is the loosing of the printing capabilities after installing
the new kernel, even if I come back reinstalling the old kernel ... I need
to reinstall all the system from the beginning to have printing
capabilities back and this is incredible!

I used the .config from the SuSe kernel build, and I just modified the SMP
and 686 setting, but the problems remain.

I solved problem 2 and 3. I solved the problem 2 by enabling the module
serial.o in the make config option in order to buil it after recompilig
module for the SMP. I solved problem 3 by adding the ISO85... support to
the kernel.

But the biggest problem remain the loosing of printing capabilities which
remain also after the replacement of the old kernel and modules ... just
reinstalling the system from the beginning solve the problem and this is
incredible!!!

Any other idea ???

Thanks.
