Hello Mike,

My BP6 boots fine, only problem that I have had was with BootPart and HPT66
drivers. Check out latest bios from abit. Maybe you shoule flash your bios.
I updated my bios several months ago. Is there any reason why you are not
using the slave ide chain? Sounds like you are using the ATA66 controllers.
You can hook up everything to the ATA33 controllers and things will work
better.
You need a special patch to use the ATA66 drives. Are your 18 GB dreves 33
or 66?
Ernest

Figured out what was wrong.. it seems that the abit bp6 mb just
wont boot unless you have a floppy attached to it. I have no clue why
since the bios was set to boot from C then cdrom then A. Must be some
kinda flaw in the bios, cause as soon as I hooked up a floppy it booted
right away from C.

Sigh.. Mike
