Since the about 2.3.19 or 20 or so I've been getting the following during
boot up:

APIC error interrupt on CPU#0 should never happen
....APIC ESR0: 00000004
....APIC ESR1: 00000004
APIC error interrupt on CPU#12 should never happen
....APIC ESR0: 00000008
....APIC ESR1: 00000008

This loops until the machine eventually locks up. I have not been getting
anything like this before, machine is stable and everything has been
wonderful.

This is all happening on a PR440FX with the last BIOS and 2 PProo/200s
with 256kb cache.

I've read the other threads for the past month or so and hope that my info
might lead to fixing a bug or to helping linux cope with different
hardware more easily. In all honesty even if it's my box; it worked in the
past. No reason to be mean to hardware that might have minor flaws.
