There is a new official BP6 BIOS out, version NJ. Updates include:

Date: 11/17/1999
ID: NJ 1. Supports 533Mhz(66Mhz FSB), 550Mhz(100Mhz
                          FSB) and 600Mhz(100Mhz FSB).
                       2. Fxies the STD function.
                       3. Updates the HPT 366's BIOS to rev. 1.21.
                       4. Adds the "A, EXT, C" option.
                       5. Fixes the general password issue.
                       6. Supports 37GB hardisks.
                       7. Supports MPS rev. 1.4.
                       8. Supports Power recovery function after the
                          AC power back.

I tried it out last night and found it to be LESS STABLE than the original
LP BIOS. It turns on MPS 1.4 by default. Also, this new BIOS causes the
kernel bootup to report an inconsistant fixed mtrr and that both of my
CPUs might not be set up properly. I switched back to revision LP and
things seem to be working fine.

Some people on the message boards at www.bp6.com are saying that NJ breaks
rather than helps their boards. I guess Win2K has trouble with it also.
I'm staying with the original release.
