Without trying to start a off topic thread, the relevance to the SMP mailing list is
Star Office is Linux
friendly product. 2). It is most effective to spread the word throughout the Linux
mailing lists. 3.)
Star office Portal is a software package intended to run on large SMP servers in order
to provide web
browser access to office tools and applications(not M$ office) to thousands of users.
Since Linux SMP has enough problems right now running high end applications, this may
be of some help to
those seeking to set up their own star office portal servers, which by the way must be
on SMP boxes. I am
certain there will be a few bugs that will surface using star office which are related
to SMP. I am glad he
made such a post, thank you for the info John.
