Hello, Linus, how are You!
I drastically apologize for disturbin' You, but may I hope you answer me
and/or point out some resource on net where I could find the answer on
my question.
I trying install Linux kernel 2.2.12-20 (from RH) on my IBM-720 with all
stuff of trouble: onboard RAID which I beat and 2 Corollary C-bus
processor board with PPro 166, which beat me :)
Of course OS works well on single CPU, but that's not of much pride, You
know.
I compile smp kernel (disabling Advanced Power Menagement and enabling
enhanced RTC support), but when I reboot with new kernel (from dmesg):
.....
per-CPU timeslice cutoff: 1.56 usecs.
CPU0: Intell Pentium 75 - 200 stepping 0c
SMP motherboard not detected. Using dummy APIC emulation.
.....
I did search Deja.com - hopeless info about C-bus, and no good.
Regards, Stas.
