Hi - I recently installed SMP linux (Kernel 2.2.14) on my dual Pentium II
system (the motherboard is Asus P2B-DS and the CPUs are 300Mhz Intels, same
lot). Things seem to be working fine, except I noticed on xosview that
each processor would jump to 100% usage at a regular pattern even when the
machine was idle. Furthermore, I noticed that the 100% usages would
coincide with interrupt on IRQ 14 and 15, corresponding to ide0 and
ide1. Running "dmesg" returned the following errors

VFS: Disk change detected on device ide0(3,64)
VFS: Disk change detected on device ide1(22,0)

Any ideas what's up? Is it an artifact of SMP?
Thanx for your help.
