Ok, there was interest. I have posted a copy here:

It is the strinet-0.8.2.tgz package you see at the top of the list.
This is just the inet package without any of the SS7 stuff.
The makefile will install the necessary devices for you and modify
your modules.conf file to autoload the module.
It's GPL. Enjoy.
