We are facing a problem that may have been experienced by someone in the list and any help would be appreciated.
Our environment:
LiS 2.16.0
Linux Kernel 2.4.20-28.7
IBM's Communications Server for Linux
The problem:
On some occasions when recycling CS/Linux for system maintenance, LiS' STREAMS module reports being in use forcing the system to be rebooted in order to recover.
All applications are stopped and I am positive that nothing in the system is using the STREAMS module. lsmod reports a usage count of usually 1 or two with no module name associated to it.
I tried using a later release of LiS but the problem still happens.
Any ideas?
