Hi,
I've been trying to get Bluetooth working on my Cubietrucks running
mainline kernels (currently 6.6.68). If I manually load the .hcd file I
can get it to work partially. My problem is that the Cubitrucks can
discover and communicate with each other but can't detect any of my other
devices (e.g. Raspberry Pi, Nvidia, Rockpi, various phones). All other
devices can detect each other but not the Cubietrucks. This has me baffled.

I've found the patches by Chen-Yu for the AP6210 and although the kernel
drivers code has changed since then the patches still seem to be fully
included. I've also checked the old AP6210 patches (for the 3.4 kernel)
but haven't found what might be missing in the newer code.

If I run the old 3.4 kernel (with the AP6210 patches) in a Cubietruck it
can discover other devices apart from Cubietrucks running a mainline
kernel. In all cases I'm loading exactly the same three files (Wi-Fi F/W,
nvram, BT .hcd) into the AP6210.

Has anybody managed to get Bluetooth running correctly on a Cubietruck with
a mainline kernel or maybe any other device that has an AP6210 ? Or does
anybody have any clues about what I can try so the Cubietrucks will
communicate in the normal world ?

Thanks,
Steven (I was a member here but can't sign in using my old googlegroups
IDs).
