There is a lot of code in the HDMI driver that does nothing. These patches removes all the unnecessary code, provides a clean up and some parameter checks which came from the comparing the drivers released under the A23 SDK. I have tested this on my A10 and A20 devices and everything seems to work as it did before the patches were applied.
