Patrick is this still an issue? I just compiled sugar-cubieboard2 from the
version 9 SDK, updated the default sys_config.fex in the sun7i/android
directories but am not getting a functional IR.

Also can't find any info for ir_rate that could be in the fex file, but I
did see a rate value in the sun7i-ir.c source in the linux-3.4 tree.
