Hi Don, Firstly, sending multiple identical emails won't get you a faster or better response. Also, sending messages every potential support forum on the web will also not get you better or faster responses.

A little history: Pengpod, the company, pretty-much doesn't exist anymore and we're not and have never been Pengpod's support service. There's no data on the linux-sunxi.org wiki about any of PengPod's devices, so I can't give you any instructions specific to their devices. In general to boot an Allwinner device off an SD card, you format a SD card with a specially built image, this puts all the required data in all the right places. You then insert the card into your device and reboot. The SoC finds that required data and boots from the SD card. Exactly these instructions: > The instructions didn't work... > "To boot into Linux you must have wither a Linux SD care or a device > flashed with Linux. To boot from the Linux SD, starting in Android, > insert the card (it will show as 'damaged") and reset the device. The > screen should be blank for 15-30 seconds then boot into Linux." If this isn't working, then either: 1. Your device doesn't support this (not sure if this is possible) 2. Your device is damaged 3. Your SD card is incorrectly formatted Given that Pengpod gave the instructions above, it has to be one of 2 or 3. You imply that your SD card was provided by PengPod, therefore it should be formatted correctly. The only way this could get "damaged" is if you've let Windows or MacOS mess with it or deleted or modified the data on it in any way. Check your device and SD card.
