I assume it would be something of a different affair since I'm using 3.3, right?

No, it will be the same. All that has changed is newer kernels are using
bcmfmac WiFi driver instead of bcmdhd. So if you are on 3.3 then try bcmdhd.

And yes, I know that the AP6210's two chips rolled into one. It's how the said
wifi and Bluetooth modules are interfaced with the A31 kernel that made me
wonder, i.e. if it's any similar to A20's.

It is similar, as I described earlier.

I haven't tried installing Linux on my tablet yet; I'm more inclined into the
Android side of things, though since I have an AW device and all I might as
well pitch in as much as I can by submitting info on my tab and whatnot.

The Wiki device pages are really there to help support people trying to get
their device running Linux (and yes Android run on top of Linux). See
http://linux-sunxi.org/New_Device_howto  If you are not intending to do that
kind of work then don't add it. The wiki isn't intended to be a catalogue of
devices with Allwinner SoCs. You just added a link on the Buying guide page to
Hewlett Packard HP 7 device with Allwinner chip . That was of interest to me
and that is why I replied.
All the best with your project.
