Hello all, I'd like to use an A10-olinuxino-lime board for a CNC control. I've made some tests with linux-sunxi kernel (default configuration), running a user space periodic task with SCHED_FIFO and highest priority. It runs rather well at 1Khz, but now and then there are some "holes" of 4-5ms. I know there are several kernel patches for standard linux kernel. But for the linux-sunxi kernel? Will these patches work for it? I'm not 100% sure to have correctly understood, but a limited support for the A10 SoC is offered by the mainline kernel, right? Should I work on this? Thank you.
