Further report:
I now tried that very same kernel on my BananaPi, and on that machine,
I don't see that reboot problem. I also could test the OTG stuff on
that machine (with g_ether) and I was quite happy to see that it works
very smoothly. I can now finally say goodbye to sunxi-3.4, yay!
