Hi,

I'm getting distorted audio playback with the generic snd_usb_audio kernel
module.
(using this:
https://github.com/OLIMEX/OLINUXINO/tree/master/SOFTWARE/A13/A13-build).

Recording in S16_3LE format is fine and class-compliant devices work also.
To enable support for this card the alsa page specifies configuring the driver
--with-card=emu10k1.

These instructions were written before 'kernel.org [now is] taking updates to
the modules directly from the ALSA GIT server.'

Also as the make script for installing this driver breaks with expecting kernel
headers, the better option is probably to compile support into the kernel.

I'm uncertain as to whether the 3.4 kernel, be it sunxi or mainline, not
already incorporated the emu drivers.

If not, how do I do this? (menuconfig doesn't list any emu devices)
