As far as I know, there is absolutely no support for the V3 / V3s in mainline u-boot and linux. I don't believe that anyone here (other than you) has hardware with one and is working on support for them. (Also, that's not the repository with the bootloader config, that's a repository for .fex files from devices people have.)
