Hi,

I don't know what software you are using, but something seems broken with Debian Jessie and we still can't figure out what is it. A20-LIME (one memory chip) works fine with kernel 3.4 and mainline kernel with both Jessie and Wheezy. A20-LIME2 (two memory chips) crashes with Jessie on the stress tests after 10-12 hours of work, but never crash with Wheezy with same processor and memory setup no matter what kernel and uboot you use. After lowering the DDR clock from 480 to 384Mhz Jessie stops crash on the stress tests. This is the weird embedded world where everything is mix of hardware and software and you never know what to blame. We temporary made LIME2 Jessie image with lower DDR clock until we catch what introduces these problems with Jessie. We have A20-LIME2 with Wheezy working 24/7 for more than two years and never had it down. This problem with Jessie was reported by customer few weeks ago, it's hard to reproduce as it happens after hours of work. We ran tests for weeks with different setting until we found that lowering the DDR clock somehow cure this issue. This doesn't have logic for now, but I'm sure when we get to the root of the problem everything will make sense :)
I have quite a few lime2's that we can do some memory timing tests on. I know ssvb would love that :)

We are running a 4.2.0-rc7 mainline custom compiled kernel (i can share the config if needed) with jessie. Except some unidentified problem, we've had 50 boards run continuously for months now. So I see both issues. E.g. crashes that I cannot explain, even so bad they crash in sync (e.g. 15 boards with the same problem at the exact same time) abut other then that, months upon months without problems. While we are trying to understand the crashing problem we have seen (maybe a little bit tight timings combined with humidity, temperature and power fluctuations?) they lime2's are very stable.

So as discussed on IRC, i'll be very happy to help running memory stress tests on a big fleet of lime2's to help get data herein.
