Hello, folks. It's my first time working with this, please let me know if this isn't the right mailing list or not the right way to ask for help.
I'm using an Orange Pi PC (sun8i-h3), with a Linux 4.8-rc3. I'm trying to enable it's I2C ports, but I haven't had any success yet. Martin Ayotte's patch ( https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/linux-sunxi/gd7S3meEAZM) worked fine on 4.7. I'm trying to convert it to the linux 4.8 ( https://github.com/paulo-raca/linux/commit/d32f1687b3fc21ab30388862f1737c69daef6aff -- It mostly involved replacing clocks and resets with the new sun8i-h3-ccu). Although the I2C ports are registered, whenever I try to access them I get this error: i2c i2c-2: mv64xxx: I2C bus locked, block: 1, time_left: 0 I've been stuck at it for a few days, but I've made no progress. Am I missing something? Any suggestions? Thank you -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "linux-sunxi" group.
