I'm trying to run OpenFirmware as startup firmware into an A13 board. i tried to build it as told as in https://www.openfirmware.info/Building_OFW_for_ARM, but i only achieve a black console window full of errors.
The reason why i wish to use this one is that i'm actually looking towards having the A13 being able to boot gnu/linux from usb hard disk and or usb cd/dvd as if it were a powermac, a sun machine or an olpc. The board in question is here, i am still working towards it's very first prototype ever: https://sites.google.com/site/wakameboard/ It is similar to the Olimex A13 boards but, it has an onboard usb hub, it has a rgb pcm to svga converter, it has an onboard ethernet to usb and it has 6 usb ports, 4 are in the back and front panel, 2 of them are in the near middle of the board intended to attach usb drives. This design is an Altium 2009 workspace, it is available under gnu lgpl licence, so anyone noticing faults, mistakes, something else that can be added and or improved is more than welcome. The latest files are also available at github in: https://github.com/temporaryuser132/wakameboard. Please have in mind it is my very first development of this kind ever and what may look obviously wrong for you may not do for me, yet. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "linux-sunxi" group.
