Hi, I wonder what is the current status of the open-source sunxi-cedrus driver. I am particularly interested in JPEG decoding using Alwinner's Video Engine on the H5 SoC. Specifically, I need to decode MJPEG video stream from a UVC camera, and it would be great if both capture and decoding could be done through a single v4l2 interface, without making a round trip "capture device -> user-space -> m2m codec device -> user-space". And as far as I know from the contents of the free-electrons/linux-cedrus <https://github.com/free-electrons/linux-cedrus>the driver only supports MPEG2/MPEG4 codecs and m2m interface.
Are there any plans/TODOs regarding this? Is there anybody actively working on it? I would like to join the development :) Best regards, Rostyslav Kurylo -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "linux-sunxi" group.
