Hi,

maybe you could try to update the openssh version to 7.6 (and openssl,
too). This doesn't feel much like an issue with the hardware or kernel
itself (as you have gotten it work with another SSH client). A better
place to ask this might be the Yocto project community, openssh project
community, or the people who made the SSH client you are using.
