Cyberpro 5050 and VESA

OK. I have discovered that the Cyberpro 5050 seems to work for the graphics
modes that I need in VESA mode. However, when exiting with
vga_setmode(TEXT), the text screen is corrupted. I get anything from missing
scan lines to nothing but a blinking cursor. I've only been able to get back
to normal text mode with a reboot.

Any ideas?
