Hi,
I am having trouble getting vgatest to run. I'm using svgalib-1.9.7 w/
kernel 2.4.2 on a Thinkpad 760CD (Trident TGUI9320 chipset). When I try
vgatest, I get the mode selection screen. If I choose anything higher than
640x480-256, I get a blank screen and have to power down to get back. Had
the same problem with svgalib-1.4.2. Any ideas?
btw - X runs fine at 800x600-16bpp
