I have compiled svgalib 1.4.3 whith ROOT_VC_SHORTCUT defined.
I have chmod my program (mame) to 6755
I am able to run mame as non root from a terminal. When running from X I
get: "Not running in a graphics capable console, and unable to find one."
I am running RedHat 7.1.
What am I to do? I would realy like it to work so that I can use my
X-based menu to run mame in a console as non root
