Hello guys, have something to report.
prereq: 2.4.x kernel, svgalib 1.4.3, S3 trio64V+
descr: i have 0x0f05 mode set at boot == 80x30.
before no svgalib app had been started since boot,
it is ok. After i start some app, and try to switch
vt, the things changes a bit: there is still 80x30,
but refresh rate is being lowered (to 60 Hz?), and screen
image becomes slightly larger, and shifted.
the change stays in effect when app is closed.
again and in short: the problem is the lowered
refreshrate , and screen shift in text mode after
any svgalib app.
