This is something I really want to do. I'm very fond of
console mode accelerated 3D but then next generation of
3D cards is going to make my Voodoo 2 look very outdated.
However since my Voodoo 2 is good enough for now I'm in
no hurry. I'm going to wait until the release of XFree
4.0 before I even look at the driver interface.
